Q: how was your day, sydney?               

 A:      i guess my day was alright. as always, the highlight of my day was seeing my friends. (this is the case for, like, all school days!) but one of my friends made a spacehey bulletin about his anxiety, so i got worried for him. he seemed to be doing better at the end of the day, though! today in class, it was pretty boring. i spent most of my time in class on spacehey making the layout for my next blog post. in the afternoon, after school, i went on a walk to the swing set i always go to and swung a little. swang? swinged? idk.. swing sets are underrated. they're so fun! my happy place is a tall swing set with a nice view, good music playing, and a friend or two with me. anyways, overall, my day was pretty blah! 

 Q: what's on your mind, sydney?

  A:      i'm worried about my friends! one has a broken nose, one is getting anxiety attacks, one has some pretty worrying statuses on discord, and one is all of a sudden making rape jokes! i'm sure they're all fine and i'm overreacting, but that doesn't stop me from worrying!! T_T_T i'm also thinking a lot about not being very interesting. i never have very entertaining conversations with friends unless it's about, admittedly, gossip! i can tell some of my friends are getting bored of me, so i need to step up my social skills!

 Q: what did today sound like?

  A:      today was some punk rock. i decided to revive my punk rock + hip-hop playlists, and it really set a unique tone for the day. some notable genres were definitely riot grrrl and old-school rap.

note, the song i picked was not for meaning, but just cuz it's catchy and has good bars.
