I think I finally got a decent piano teacher

So for the past few months or so I’ve been taking piano lessons at this nearby place and in the beginning I had this piano teacher, let’s call her Ms A. So Ms A’s lesson basically went by like this, I’d play a song from the little book we have and she’d monitor me for a bit until leaving the room and doing who knows what before returning to the room where occasionally she’d just pull out her phone and only listen to me play. Ms A would then play along with me on the other side of the piano and sometimes she’d play on a whole separate keyboard while I played on the normal piano. Overall I basically learned almost little to nothing.

Ms A had also been absent a few times where different people had to substitute her and then fastforward to a few weeks ago and apparently she was no longer going to teach. We said our goodbyes and stuff during our last lesson, she gave me some candy and a small star charm thing as a gift. I wasn’t sad or anything I guess since I didn’t know her for that long.

After that I had a different teacher, this guy who teached me for only 2 lessons. He was okay, I have nothing against him and he technically did nothing weird for the most part but I did feel rather awkward and uncomfortable during our lessons. I guess I just feel uncomfortable with most men in general who aren’t my close family or anything so at one point after these lessons I was ready to quit but I didn’t since I wanted to wait until the end of the month to see how it all goes.

Today I walked in and I had a new teacher, a lady in her early 30s. Apparently iirc she only teaches on Wednesdays and Thursdays usually but now she’s taking up the Saturday and Sunday lessons too I guess. She briefed me a bit about getting me a music theory book so I can actually understand things better and I wasn’t just pressing keys or something and I guess overall she seemed like someone who was going to take things seriously unlike Ms A. Nothing against Ms A, she honestly seemed just like some uni student in her 20s taking up a part time job so that could explain why she wasn’t teaching me as much as she was supposed to, especially since most of her students are like children and not grown 16 y/os. Anyways this new teacher asked my age and I felt kinda awkward about it but she assured me that it’s never too late to start so there’s that.
