In a great relationship after over 3 years

I haven’t had the best track record with dating. Most guys I dated just weren’t great and didn’t treat me right. They didn’t drive, didn’t work, etc. meanwhile I was driving and working full time. And now I have an amazing guy I was talking to for the last couple of months who just asked me to be his girlfriend. I’ve always been miss independent though so it’s been hard for me to accept things he does. Like he always wants to drive me places, won’t let me pay for things, and just all around treats me like a princess. I love it and appreciate it so much don’t get me wrong. It’s just hard when you’ve always been independent to let someone take care of you for once. I’ve always been the person to take care of others. But it’s nice to finally have someone take care of me and treat me the way I should’ve been treated.
