Arduino is a really poorly made project tbh

Arduino is ass,and the original website what sells them(https://store.arduino.cc/collections/boards-modules/products/arduino-nano?_pos=17&_fid=62212620b&_ss=c) IS ASKING 26 EUROS FOR AN ARDUINO NANO???
like you can buy on aliexpress arduino nano for 2-3 dollars and it will be exactly the same as the official arduino nano, and you can even use type-c.

Yeah, you can easily get away with just buying the SoC you want/need, and using that for your projects. Arduino is alright for learning, but like you mentioned you can get better for cheaper. Similar story with Raspberry Pi, the issue is though, boards like Raxda, Orange Pi, and others dont have the same software support. Which is unfortunate, but its getting better with time. I personally like Raxda when it comes to SBCs, but it just struggles software compatibility wise, and its RISC-V, which is cool, but still in its infancy in production ready hardware.

Hoping RISC-V comes out on top, but we likely wont see suitable RISC-V consumer grade hardware for at least another 5 years, though i hope im wrong.
