Has people gotten meaner or is it just me? I dont understand why people are so aggressive these days. Cant we all just try to help each other ? why do everyone try to fight all the time?

It's easier to be a dick nowadays with little to zero really life repercussions. People *are* meaner nowadays, quick to cast judgment and say stupid shit. Can't do much about it aside from change who yer around and what content you consume.
I agree with what you are saying .People should learn to empathize more.
