Whenever i take my dog Reggie out at night, i always hear moving around like a large living thing...ive heard deep growls and breathing...Its to the point im scared to even go out there...Btw i said night goblins as a joke it could be something more sinister...ive never done a whole lot of research on my property but at this point its tempting...but what if i discover something absolutely terrifying, or nothing at all and then ill be left with the burden of not knowing what exacly is going on in my backyard. anyways :P

How does your dog react? If angry or afraid then it may be something bad, not necessarily evil but animals do sense things.
I read in some odd spell and superstition book that negative spirits are unable to harm us with the presence of an animal that we care for, they act like protectors in that sense. However, spirits can try to tempt or scare us into causing ourselves harm.
He gets very protective! Hes a pointer so when he thinks he sees or hears something, he starts getting low and doing the "pointer" stance. Thank you for the comment! :)
