I love art and I have ocs right? And I love creating scenarios of them in my head (so much so that I might be a maladaptive daydreamer, but that's another story for another day). Anyway, I cannot bring these ideas into reality for the life of me, no matter how simple they are. And even if I do, they come out really ass, which then discourages me from making more. I feel like this is hurting my account because I don't post as much valuable stuff as I used to, which is stunting my growth. I wish I could be one of those artists who can pump out ideas and actually execute them well. All my moots can do this no problem, and even if they can't, their art is so good that it doesn't even matter.
Can someone help plssssss

I immersive daydream as well, so I should listen to my own advice (Whoopsies!!), but if you have the capability to create worlds and scenarios and characters, then you have the capability to bring life to your creations. Sure, it might require gaining some skill in said arts, but it will really pay off! :-)

just keep going, if the mind isnt stubborn then youll eventually improve in art. if you want, look at images (this could be anatomy or clothes, etc) and observe how things work. Other than that, dont be harsh on yourself.. draw whatever you want, if you let go of this negative mindset your art will shape into something you love. Love your art even if its cartoony or realistic, detailed or non detailed, anatomically correct or incorrect... Dont make art, a hobby, into something that you "dread" to do. Also, comparison is the thief of joy, everybodys art is special so dont be inclined to compare yourself.
i am speaking from my own experience.. i used to try aim for an artstyle with good anatomy but i rememberd how much i enjoyed drawing in 2020 so i was like eff anatomy imma draw wut iwant ^-^
