anyone noticed the personification of chatgpt and ai language models

on reading the limitations of generative ai, ive noticed people refer to it's 'malicious' 'habits' (like creating misinformation) as delusions, hallucinations, or false perceptions. i then read a critical article about how expert usama fayyad says the term attributes intent, consciousness and rationality to a piece of programming that is incapable of any and all human emotion or psyche, and therefore creates a false personification of chatgpt. this then lead me to think about how ai art generators feeds on its own distorted images, creating even more distorted bullshit, that people refer to as cannibalisation, incest, or suicide. while these are all creative and flowery ways to describe chatpgt, i think it gives it too much credit. its not a person! its not a friend! why do we use such personified 'human' language like hallucinations and cannibalisation? i think its just human nature, i think our brains are designed to seek patterns and create personification. we see car headlights as faces, we see cats as girls and dogs as boys, and we see chatgpt as some girl called aria luminara or whatever linkedn ai bros say. even what ai stands for, artificial intelligence, is interesting. like, ai doesnt contain an 'intelligence,' its more just a storage of cobbled together ideas. ai cannot create any ideas of its own, only mash already created ideas. but maybe i do that as well. i mean, my mind is a sort of storage of information, everything ive learnt from school and wikipedia, and all of my ideas are technically all inspiration from others, whos taken inspiration from even more people in the past, that lead back all the way to the first man and woman. so technically, no idea is ever original and ai is just like us. but the reason i refuse to believe ai is just like me is because i have to believe it isnt sentient, to cope. if ai ever does become sentient the world will become a very different place, we would essentially spawn a whole new race of 'humans.' but i dont think we could ever confirm that. how can we ever confirm anything else has feelings, emotions, and 'legitimate' (as opposed to artificial) intelligence? we can never know. i cant prove that my own mother is her own person, she may just be a ai, except i dont believe that, because i trust her and believe in the intrinsic nature she is real. you have to hold onto intrinsic beliefs like this, otherwise you'll go crazy.
