Building the addition

I am a geek. My father is a carpenter. Two wolves can live inside of me at once and manifest outside when the roof of this new addition to our house is done. You would not believe how much money there is to be saved when you know how to build it yourself.

Today, August 22nd of 2024, UPS dropped off THREE skylights. Yeah, the whole damn window. I was shocked that UPS would handle the shipping of skylights and not Home Depot or something. But I didn't order them, so how would I know really? It makes me really excited though. Can't wait to have some more space. Always craving space when you share it with 6 siblings, 8 cats, a dog, and two parents.
