I feel like violence has been something normalized and even funny for some. I'm not talking about horror movies they're fictional but true violence.
To tell a little story that happened in my highschool. During the night a guy got runned over by a train in our city, he was in extremely terrible shape and a witness came to see him. He took out his phone and started filming the guy telling him "Pray brother ! Pray!".
The next morning EVERYONE at my school were sharing the video on Snapchat. They were all talking about it in the hallways letting out even light laughs. I truly hope it were nervous laughs. My friends asked me if I already saw the video, they were watching multiple times that day.
It's a shocking scene, but this behavior is straight up disgusting and disrespectfull
Social medias are separating us from the truth of certain violences. I dislike the ideas of Trump but laughing at an assassination attempt is showing how fucked up our minds really are. We become more and more insensitive.
