another personal post/life updates

still haven't really gotten into blogging about kandi or character design or whatever else i like.. so more stuff about the past few days

my partner moved into the dorms of a college in our city, i thought this would be very good for me (beyond just being happy for him of course) since it would mean i can sleep at his place and hang out away from home finally, especially since he doesn't have a roommate, but...

apparently, i am allergic to cats. and he has a cat. (who is also my cat in my heart because i love her and she is my baby). but that means i cant be there for longer than a few hours, no sleepovers. and i can't move in with him while he has a cat, and i can never get my own cat. i've never had a cat because my mom is allergic (maybe i should have guessed that i was sooner), but i always just thought i would get to have one as an adult. now not only can i not live with a cat, i can't even live with my partner. i'm devastated

other things that have happened- me and my partner (mainly him but i helped a little) made macarons. they turned out amazing and i ate them all :). i started reading again, which i haven't really done in a month or two (i'll probably make a post just bout moby dick soon, but i can still talk about it here. i forgot how much i liked ishmael in the time i haven't been reading). my brother started school, he's taking mandarin this year and tonight he started sharing things with me that he's learned
