I find that hunting is way too demonized in this day and age.
And I'm obviously not speaking of trophy hunting, that's a whole other can of worms i don't feel like digging into.
But you cannot tell me that it's way better to keep living concious creatures in little tight crates, and handle them like soulles objects, throwing them around, letting them stomp eachother down, than it is to go out to the forest and shoot a buck or some geese providing them a quick and painless death.
I have seen footage of this, the disguisting mishandling by "farm" workers. I wouldn't even consider those places farms, a farm breeds, they simply produce and process while the poor things are still alive.
It's just sad.
I recently started eating meat again, but i don't think i will ever consume anything that comes from livestock production. It might be more costly and time consuming to get it from an ethical source, but it is so much better in the long run.
The meat is healthier, more nutritious, more climate friendly and ethically sourced.
Besides, I really doubt humans are meant to eat meat every day.

I agree. Most people who hunt don't do it very often, mostly only during specific seasons.
