Game Review: an easy lay.

an easy lay. header image

PERSONAL RATING: 7.5/10 Depending on the route you take, you'll end up with a bit of a tearjerker, but maybe I'm just sensitive.

an easy lay. is a multi-ending, text based browser game, where you, a wasp named Vess, are on a mission date to find a suitable host for you to lay an egg in. It's an odd topic to make a game of, but thoughtful and deep nonetheless. (Considering your choices.) Playing more than once is optional, but suggested. (By me.)

Let me just quote the creator directly for you.

"Vess is a wasp and like any wasp all she wants is someone to share good conversation, pleasant companionship, probably more than one bellini, and the joys of parenthood.

Guide Vess as she learns that there is more to romance than just paralyzing someone with a potent venom and affixing an egg to them, allowing your newborn larva to consume them slowly from the inside out.

(But also, that part is really important. Don't forget.)"

Fun Fact, if you freak with the super sick image up top, they sell shirts with the same print.

Self Written Warnings, not issued by creator: Obvious descriptions of insects and their reproductive behaviors. (Not sure why someone would play this if that bothers them, but to each their own.)
