[article] Netflix's 'Cowboy Bebop' Fails
Written by a friend of a friend. Netflix Bebop is shallow and vulgar in its sensibilities; it cannot help but reproduce the rot at the heart of the media-industrial complex. It has some positives in it's expansion of some underused characters, but that doesn't help it escape its crucial flaws. I also watched some clips of it, and it looks like some of the worst, cheapest television ever made. Awful acting, awful sets and costumes, awful cinematography, even bad sound design and audio mixing.
