what do you guys think about the new batman show on prime video?
i thought it was alright, didnt live up to btas but i didnt really expect it to
some of the forced DEI feels weird given the show takes place in the 1940s but its based around a fictional comic book character so i try to look past it

im in the same boat :3 thought it was over all decent but def not living up to btas like i saw some people say n didn't really think it would in the first place. i really liked the opening credit n wish they incorporated more of that into the style rather than the kinda bland style thats been used the past few years. i enjoyed how they mixed in some supernatural elements n didnt keep it strictly normal but also wish they had more detective/mystery ( ╥ω╥ )

To be honest I quite liked it. I must say it wasn't exceptional but in my opinion it was really enjoyable.
Regarding the DEI, I think that in this case it was more than acceptable; sure it wasn't as spontaneous as the one in the Boys for example, but it wasn't cringe.
I'm curious about how the show will develop Batman's relationship with Alfred and with the other characters.
