1 What was your first car? How long did you have it? Why did you part with it?

1976 Toyota Mark II. Had it for 3 years. It got some scary rust in it and was having electrical problems.

2 How many cars have you owned?

11. Not including ones I bought to sell.

3 Which car was the most reliable? 

Honestly, the 2 Kia's I have owned. I've had way more expensive cars but nothing was as dependable as the Kia's.

4 If you could have any classic car, what would you have?

Mercedes Benz 250SE 1969 model. The most elegant car ever made.

5 Is there a car you wish you never bought?

Not really. I'm very careful about what I buy and I tend to not regret it. Although my Camry was full of electrical problems and I couldn't live with it anymore after a while.

6 Have you caused a car accident?

Yes. 2 rear ender's. Not huge damage but I won't be doing that ever again. 2 is not bad for 26 years of driving.

7 How many miles do you usually drive in a year? 

Depends which car I'm using, but to add it all up, about 25,000 km in a year. I have a 32km commute one way so...

8 Would you buy a hybrid or electric car?

I would consider a hybrid. The only problem is they lose so much efficiency over a 5 year period that it's not saving any money on fuel. In the end, the gas engine is just lugging dead batteries around. Electric? No. I live in Australia and that would just be too inconvenient.
