Updating my site and life.

I haven't blogged in a long time, but a lot has happened in the past few months:

  • I've graduated from my two year program, with a 3.99 GPA (curse that business class that brought me down a point).
  • Worked on an app for the visually impaired.
  • Moved out of my shoebox apartment in the city, back across the country to a much nicer (yet cheaper) place in a much smaller area.
  • Realized how much harder it is to find a job in this area.
  • Spent a month vacation with my long-distance partner.
Most recently, I've finally gotten a callback on a job application, had an interview, and it went really well! But they won't get back to me for a few more days about if I'm hired or not, and the suspense is killing me.

While applying for local jobs, I've been working on both my professional portfolio site and my personal sites. My main on neocities, and my "dumping ideas" one on nekoweb. On my main, I decided I want to create dedications to certain things I own and... I own... way way too much!!!

I actually sold a LOT of things before going to college, which is what's driving me crazy. I though I successfully reduced my merch from "things I own just because" to "things I care about", but there's no way I care about this many things. But when I hold them individually, I feel like I do.

Honestly, displaying everything out on shrines on my page helps me take into consideration, no, I do not care about all of these. And owning all this stuff just takes up space and makes it harder to concentrate on the specifics I like, and makes it harder to justify buying new things. But why is it still so hard to get rid of things?!

I've actually started selling some stuff on eBay again. I wish Mercari was available in Canada, as it seems better for otaku type stuff, but oh well.

Anyway, that is a summary of my life for the past bit.
