SPLAT is failing me... or did I fail splat

I dyed my hair blue for the first time with my friend. it took hours to clean up the crime scene in my bathroom but for some reason this little front patch of my hair refuses to pick up the color. My natural hair is pretty dark, and we bleached only the tips bc that's the look I was going for. And yet no matter how careful I am to not let water touch my hair when washing my face, washing my hair not too often, only using cold water on my head, etc, I still have blonde hairs in the front •_• not even toned blonde [even though we went through the effort of toning my hair when we first bleached it].

I even touched up the dye and that section is still faded and a little brassy!!

this is bonkers!! A bit looney even!! I have been cursed!!!
