ppl really love to compare themselves to others huh

"my wardrobe is sooooo boringggg :///" "im so ugly ugh i hate myself" "my life is so boringgggg" comparatively.

do you really think someone who wants to be seen as pretty or cool online will share the most basic parts of their wardrobe, or post a photo that isnt taken from a good angle with a shit ton of filters on it? theyre selling you an enchanced image of themselves to make it clickable. thats the point of social media, television, and any media at all. getting attention. youre not ugly you just look like you, a normal human being. nobody is ugly, we js look different and as corny as that sounds, ugly is just an image ppl feed to you to make themselves look better.

im tired of seeing kids have absolutely no self-esteem whatsoever (i was there once) and giving themselves eating disorders and killing themselves because they dont think they are good enough to match some rlly fake standards. you have to make your life fun, you cant js sit in front a device all day talking to some random bloke you wont even remember come the next year, go do smth thats actually fun, that you enjoy. you have to make yourself beautiful, not using any makeup or clothes, but just your mind. stop comparing yourself to others and js know that you are beautiful, bcs at the end of the day nobody actually cares how you look.

Real i’m tired of people commodifying themselves. “How to be clean girl” “how to be this aesthetic” trying to be skinny to be a tiktok star or instagram influencer or tumblr girlblogger it’s all so irritating. Even those 10 year old drunk elephant kids. The get ready with mes, the skincare routines, the yoga…sure, these these are healthy, but people do it because they have to keep young and pretty. Everything is for aestheticism and market value

Not the 10 year olds fantasizing sex work what. No it’s not girlbossing, it’s not liberation, it’s a strategy to make it by
