Mid 90s movie review

9/10

I love this movie. I love the way it was filmed, I love the plot but the only thing I had like one issue and that was like I never really knew what was going on LMAO like things would just be thrown in there and it would just cut to scenes in the movie, and at the end it kinda felt rushed and like I understand they are friends and like fuck shit was one of the main characters but like why the fuck wasn’t he like arrested for yk DRUNK DRIVING and like how is Stevie’s mom just cool with the whole STEVIE GETTING INTO A CAR CRASH AT 13 WITH A DRUNKEN TEENAGER DRIVING LMAO AND WHERE THE FUCK ARE THE POLICE, and also Alexa Demies character WDYM YOU LET THAT CHILD DO WHAT TO YOUR WHAT.   Also I just found out idk how this was legal but Sunny Suljic the actor that played Stevie was 11 and Alexa was 26/27… idk man mad weird. But anyways it’s a good movie just really stressful to watch if that makes sense if you like going on emotional roller coasters this is the movie for you!

the point is for it to just be a telling of a story, unbiasedly so. not swaying you to think 'this is wrong the film told me so'. its a movie you need to kinda analise and pay attention to.

we dont know how it really ends, but in my perception a reason the people werent involved is because his mother realised they were the only true family he had. she was neglectful and his brother was abusive.

i watched that movie many many times, and each watch gets better, you learn and notice the characters and consider their actions based on their lives
