Confused

So I have a bf but he lives in a different country and I really don't care about the long distance it's the fact he doesn't really text me first but he's getting better...ish. and today wile at waterworld today this guy (it was a work event for my mom it was one of her coworkers kids and I know him from last years party thing) came up to me and asked for my insta so I gave it to him not in a relationship way but like friends but he speaks Spanish and my grandma said he was saying that I was hot and things like that and IDK what to do.. please help 🙏🏻🙏🏻
