Hey, I saw your last blog. I’m so sorry people are treating you in this way.
My best friend is a grade below me, so he started his first day of his senior year in high school two weeks ago. High school is like a breeding ground for crappy, vicious people. My friend has a distinct emo/punk style. He’s trans and he always dresses in all black. He’s a target for bullies. He’s always done well in school, though, so he has the chance to graduate early in the winter.
I always advise him to not listen the things those jerks have to say. Don’t give them the time of day. I’ve always admired my friend for being himself and not changing his style just because other people don’t like it.
So keep on doing the things and wearing the things that bring you happiness. :] And realize that the words they say are just words, words meant to bring you down. Whether it’s because they’re insecure or they want to follow the crowd isn’t important. Just try to ignore them to the best of your ability. If you need someone to talk to, I’m here. I wish I worked hard enough in school, so definitely focus on your schoolwork! Think of school as a place to work and learn. You could probably graduate early, too!
Just keeping staying true to yourself. If you have any friends at school, reflect on their values and see if they’re ’true friends.’ Surround yourself with people you want to be like! And good luck. (: Again, if you need someone to talk to, I’m here!
