semi-shitty patch tutorial

so i was in school makin patches n decided to take pics of my process cause why not lol

so step one is to make sure you have a charming assistant, in my case a faceless monster high doll for support in your mission 

 Supplies!! i had some random textile paint laying around, painters tape and some paint brushes i dont mind fucking up a bit and for the base fabric i had legs off a pair of jeans i turned into shorts

then i just did a good enough...sketch w chalk of the logo i wanted to make, the NIN logo is like a rly easy one to make cause u can just block in alot of it w tape so u dont need to do that intricate of a sketch

i blocked in the center of the logo w some paper scraps and taped the outside edges as straight as i could and painted until it was opaque enough for me

then i removed the center bit and refined the sketch a bit so the letters were thick enough and on a similar level

also used some scrap paper to get cleaner edges on the letters, just eyeballed the placement and everything bc idc that much

peel the rest of the tape off and let it dry tada you have a bran new patch, i liked it looking a bit rought but you can clean up the lines and everything w some black paint
