The decade of the 2000s took place from my mid-twenties to early-thirties, which was perhaps the period of my life that was the richest in life experience, upheaval, change, travel, and outright absurdity. From religious beliefs to romantic relationships and living arrangements, everything was in Flux.
Here I will share what was meaningful to me during this time: personal stories, fashion, music, movies, TV, books, ideas, pop culture, and world events.
It was in the middle of this decade, 2005, that I opened a MySpace account and spent five years blogging on it before the exodus to Facebook. Many of these entries have been saved to a file, some of which will be reposted here. It was also in 2005 that YouTube was created and released, giving birth to what would become a social media revolution. At this time, slow internet connection on dial up moved to broadband, and in time, high speed wireless to accommodate the revolution.
