Blog 6: Trip up north (finally!!!)

I can now safely talk about this (my mom tells me if I'm going to talk about a location I went to I need to wait a month (you know, internet safety))!!!

on July 17th I went up to Manitoulin Island with my mom and uncle. 

The night before the trip i stayed at my uncle's place. This was to make sure that we all left in the morning at the same time in the same car (my uncle has a bronco(its my aunts car technecally)). We had to wake up super early to catch a ferry by 8 am. I made sandwiches for the drive up (egg salad, tuna, and cucomber). Once on the boat, it was an hour and a half ride. I downloaded some spotify playlists and mostly just listened to music. The boat has a resteraunt, so my mom baught me a waffle! Then off the boat it was still an hour till our first destination, M'chigeeng (pronounced shih-geeng).

We went up there to see my grandpa! We chatted for a couple hours and then went to Little Current to a resteraunt for lunch. At lunch I had a muchroom melt burger. Afterwards we went Kagawong to see bridal veil falls and the musiem they have there. 

Finaly we had to head home on the boat by 6pm. before getting on the boat though we stoped at a resterant where i had fish and chips. the return trip on the boat was about the same only I spent most of it out side on the deck. 

I didn't get home until very late and still feel as if a month later catching up on sleep.
