ended off with a 4.0 (gpa boost!) trying to lighten the workload for fall so i'm happy i don't have a packed schedule (rotting maximum has been reached)

i actually have a plethora of eyedrops that i've used over the years as a contact wearer but this one is legit pouring listerine mouthwash into your eyes...i've been really tired and sleepy after my 9am and my eyes are usually out of focus when i try to get work done on my laptop so these get the job done ﾐ(o*･ω･)ﾉi'm up! on my third bottle

*please beware if you don't wear contacts cause my friends have tried it before and they couldn't open their eyes for a minute from how cooling it is

i was at the beauty store with my friend and told her i needed to buy a body mist and she told me i'm like those middle schoolers who need to spray victoria secret mist after their pe class 〜(꒪꒳꒪;) i like savon better cause it's more of a white soapy crisp smell (paper soap by j-scent dupe) but if you like more of a powdery baby smell then i'd recommend the other^^ super light and not heavy which is perfect after a short workout (｡ﾉωヽ｡)ﾟ｡

i have quite a few hygiene products since having a gap in my sched makes me feel lost and i never feel comfortable (clean) lounging in public spaces...been missing the comfort of going straight home after classes •(  • _ •。)

been feeling inspired lately so i searched The Internet to study up on old cocoppa layouts that people had...in ref to previous blogs i rarely change my phone layout since it takes too much effort  (´･ω･)  =3hah...

figuring out how i could retrieve original icons but after looking around the World Wide Web i didn't have any luck so i had to take matters into my own hands

biggest peeve is any graphic low in resolution when i'm looking for a new desktop saver so i usually make my own desktop wallpapers...however, this is my first time making my own phone layout so as you can tell we are simply seeing wherever this takes us since i did not ideate with any sketches (Big NoNo in my work process)

i am a lover of wallpapers with app placements...very charming and fun!

still very shy posting things i've made online but this could be some fun portfolio work i can add that shows off my personal style/interests (-ω-、) thinking of making a set/series of wallpapers with biscuit/choco/pink themes for free personal use +app icons (｡T ω T｡)

app icons will be a different story cause idk how to approach this...

 what i've been working towards^^ still a few things i'd change but i'm getting the hang what to pay attention to while i'm working to ensure peak cuteness&accessibility

the cocoppa app icons i found off of pinterest are at 5 pixels best and i can't handle it so i changed it back to my fav mellowromance icons that are crispy clear

which takes me to my next concern

one special perk smaller accounts get is being reassured your photos don't get thrown around online without your knowledge but i'm particularly having a hard time setting a boundary or establishing rules since it's more like....

feeling like this whenever i see my photos on the internet which is just inevitable when your public account grows (⌒_⌒;) but i'd like to minimize it as much as possible so i've been being more cautious and being more vocal online (iAm supposed to be mysterious and COOL online with minimal presence). i'm nonetheless grateful for the increasing interest i've been receiving the past few months so i'm moving forward with good feelings~

didn't know the waiting game for office jobs were that long

i really wanted these stsg stickers and was waiting on my post interview results since i'm still hesitant buying a few things in korea and this convo happened between me and my corporate tech friend when i was looking for advice

after a month i received a callback for a second round except it was a design challenge since they had trouble picking the final applicants so you can picture my (；¬д¬)srsly? face when i opened my email only to find out they still haven't decided

*this was me in the end obliging

all of this for a campus job that i have to leave by the end of the semester but i've decided any experience is valuable in my books so i'm taking the leap. even if that means being treated like a cs major having to do a coding interview

i posted a room tour vid and someone commented that my room reminds them of the book cover 「before we say goodbye」 &i was like woah...that's coolest thing ever since i actually do think this design captures the same feeling☆o(*^^*o)

realized a habit of mine is posting videos in haul format but never showing it as part of my daily life  so it ends up being more like room decor but i have sudden realizations sometimes that a lot of the stuff i own are Epic and i need to show more appreciation

the meiji cup i've had for a year now

this biscuit coaster i recently got is perfect visually but it can not retain a single drop of water in the divots from the condensation on my cup without it spilling so it's been demoted to shelf decor with no purpose

i hate being on campus and miss being in the design buildingㅜㅜ 2/week on campus is sort of kicking my a*s since i have a self-rule of not enrolling in pre-noon courses but i've never experienced a gap in my schedule (no more than 10min) so i quite literally don't know what to do with myself*-* going home isn't an option since i'd come back at peak parking hours and have to make my rounds and i feel so unproductive trying to get my study up on campus (i work the best at home)

everything's been moving slow despite the initial schedule..i've been open to start grabbing at unpaid work to stack my resume while i schoolT_T

so here are my most FAQ, tips, and what i've learned (co-signed by k★maさん)

① k★ma-san...what camera do you use?

been collecting a lot of old phones the past few years but as of now i've been using my 【iphone4☆】 finding old iphones for a semi-decent price is easy but if you have the chance, you can experiment thrifting some cool jpn phones that take a sim card~ you'll end up getting some cool pics that can only be attained with older phones ⊂(･ω･*⊂) iphone 5&6 also give off that gloomy low quality vibe

i only use one digicam and that's my (´･ω･`)`つ 【samsung mv800】 i'd like to collect more digicams but so far i haven't found one in my budget...

② what editing programs do you use for pictures and videos?

i am an adobe user^^

pictures → photoshop, picsart, or lightroom

for quick touch up, i like using picsart to soften my pictures since it's the fastest (&free) to work with. probably the easiest/user intuitive app to work with but some people underestimate the power of picsart so if you don't have access to ps, picsart has user friendly tools to mimic soft/hazy look (same with lightroom)

open image < effects < blur < set ~30-40 blur < 60-80 fade < choose blending options (i only use lighten/screen/or soft light for a brighter soft look) then you should get smthg like this...rubbing lip balm on your camera lens and dabbing it away also gets the job done LOLOL

*i only use ps when i want to work with text and image layering, but i don't have a recipe for it since every graphic is different and i'm freestyling

video → premiere pro, vllo, illustrator or after effects

mobile apps are always ideal for beginner editing so i initially used vllo to edit my videos (both on tiktok&youtube) cause clipping/adding subs are the fastest on there (+they have a mac version so i edit freely on my laptop) (*￣(ｴ)￣*)suki..i do build all of my visuals on illustrator so being your own mini creative director(lmao) helps in conveying what specific mood you want to give off

as of now, i use premiere pro since i've been trying to lay down every adobe software but for the things i don't know i throw into adobe after effects < export clip < add to premiere draft (you are looking @AmateurAnimeEditor that used ae at 12)

③ how do you get your pictures to look "old" and low quality

솔직히sometimes you just need an old phone

everyone has their type of style they like in old pictures

like a warm/saturated cozy look

digicam pics with high flash contrast

&more,

but i like gloomy, desaturated and soft pictures the best♥︎

whatever picture i post, it's most likely run through these settings as a base before i edit further with anything

 exposure +1 to 5

 brilliance +1 or more *only use if pic was taken with older phone

 brightness +3 to 7

 saturation -3 to -15

 vibrance -1 to -3

 warmth -2 to -10

 tint +2 to 7 (tint blindness is real...it brings out the pink more i had to put the phone down when i realized my early pictures had a odd purple hue)

④ where do you get all the Cool&Awesome Epic stuff you own?

i don't have a saved list except for terms that are different in jpn (ex. it took me forever to figure out what they called ginpachi sensei (銀八先生))(-__-...) but i also shop on ebay, mercari, or depop when i'm just looking to buy one thing. i shop according to what i'm looking for or if i'm window shopping i search by vague styles like "pink hime" and clench my teeth while i go through 100+ pages of listings

don't underestimate chronic mercari jp buyers..

⑤ what type of inspiration do you look at? how do you create all of this on your own?

look at EVERYTHING! feeling :B [pointer finger] right now but iJust luv..looking at old pictures..old designs........blogs or accounts that haven't been updated in years and feeling nostalgic  throughout the past years of being a photoshop teen and schooling i think i've gotten better at design thinking and being creative forcefully instead of being struck with inspiration so it's not as bad

there are so many ppl out there who don't pursue creative work as a career and keep it as a fun hobby which is so cool to me....How r u good at so many things^^? for me, i'm pretty much just using the skills i've learned and maintained so i treat it as any other piece of work i've done (￣▽￣)ゞ if you find it difficult to start, i always advocate motivating urself enough to pick up technical skills. don't worry i also graduated top of the class at youtube university to expand my horizons outside le academic realm

will keep until i feel True fall vibes..but my hairstylist gave me higher layers and told me i need to take better care of my hair......since it's so dry...so they gifted me hair treatment which i kindly accepted (ノ°▽°)domo

as a reward from fulfilling regular student duties i decided i can have a small haul at my korean address and the first purchase that broke the year long seal was this L cushion keyring (i've been obsessed with otaku merch again)
