Imagine tho

I think the song by John Lennon is actually really good, and has a really deep meaning beneath just the words, but, shouldn't our image of a perfect world be a world where we aren't just one?

Shouldn't our perfect world be as varied and individual as the stars in the sky? Nature is not meant to be one perfect shade of green, that's why we have blue oceans, colorful stars, and multicolor butterflies.

I bet a lot of this perspective comes from me being a practicing Catholic, so feel free to comment about your own perspectives relative to your background in religion!!!

Questions of the day:

1) Are we as a human society supposed to live care-free on our own terms or should we have to follow strict rules regarding how civilization works? How should our world function better than it currently is?

2) Is religion coming to an end for most or do you think there will be a time in the future when people will majorly view religion as necessary for a functioning society?
