Bubblegum girk!! - the guide to my personal style 🩷💕

Bubblegum girk is a name that I gave to my own personal style and it's a big Mish mash of a bunch of other aesthetics that blend into mine!! I came up with the name bubblegum girk because my favourite colour is bubblegum pink and girk is because I used to call myself a "girky girk" instead of a "girly girl" (idk why).

My style and aesthetic is kind of a blend of late 2007 juicy couture girl, 90's skater girl, 2010's kawaii, 2014 soft grunge and a tiny bit of frutigo metro all thrown together.

It's very pink, sparkly, feminine but it's also a little thrown together and grungey. Kind of more comfortable baggy silhouette rather than a hyper fem tight mini skirt. 

It's a lot of little pink baby tees with cute sparkly designs and slogans with a zip up hoodie and baggy jeans or sweatpants. Or a huge oversized t-shirt with a cute design and shorts or sweatpants. Platform shoes are a MUST!!! I put them with every single outfit.

For accessories it's a lot of cheap kids bracelets and necklaces, thick hoop earrings, short necklaces with a hello kitty pendant, thick rhinestones sunglasses, an ironic plastic tiara, sanrio tote bags or little juicy purses and bedazzled belts.

The makeup is very pink and sparkly, loads of baby pink blush, pink eyeshadow, loose glitter on the cheeks, natural eyebrows, lots of highlighter, pink lipstick or Claire's lipgloss, lots of mascara and barely ever any fake lashes.

My hair is either straightened with a little flick at the end, big curls or my natural waves, it's normally down but if not it's either in a low side ponytail, pigtails, or a half up half down.

For perfumes I like very sweet, sugary, fruity, floral scents. My personal go to's are viva la juicy petals please, Ariana Grande mod vanilla, Nicki Minaj minajesty, Britney spears fantasy or Ariana Grande moonlight, also drown yourself in watermelon scented shimmer spray from Claire's
