Looking for a band or musicians to make a band

I am a 14 year old girl looking for musicians around my age to make a band or looking to join a band. I am heavily into rock and metal music which is why I need a bassist, guitarist, someone to help write music, a drummer, and a few backups like backup vocalists and guitarists/bassists. I live in SC if that helps, wanting to start something new in order to pick up gigs and make some friends. I will also be taking advice for the best route to cover songs without getting into any legal trouble or where to find bands in my area that might be looking for another member.
