SO
I'm finally in the middle of my internship era ><
I've already finished my industrial setting and I'm currently still doing my clinical one.
I think I definitely still enjoy the clinical setting more than industrial, but I surprisingly enjoyed industrial more than I thought I would.
I'm learning a lot about clinical psychology and its state in our country from working where I currently do.
They have a looot of really interesting books and manuals on the different tests that we can use for assessment :DD We're also allowed to "assess" each other using the tests when we have no current tasks so that's fun.
Right now I've taken two psychological tests from my stay here, the MMPI-2 and the NEO-PI-3 which are both personality tests that determine my general personality type, moods, attitudes, cognitive and emotional function, etc.
What I've learned is that I'm pretty normal for the most part, a little on the aloof side with a little bit of depression symptoms but nothing TOO bad (i think lol)
I'm definitely more stable than some of my co-interns ToT we're all laughing c three of them are already diagnosed and the tests just confirmed what they were diagnosed with lol.
I really enjoy the clinical aspect of psychology, and undergoing this internship just solidified that. I'm a little bit worried about the future considering how small the workforce of psychology is in the country and how little opportunities we get with a good salary if we stay as just psychometricians, but i still want to pursue it and hopefully become a psychologist in the future so I can earn some ka-ching ykyk
That's all for now! We're gonna finish our clinical setting and start the educational setting soon! Maybe I can try going for educational counselling in the future!
