It’s like falling in love when you’re ten

I’ve written 101 songs about you. And you haven’t heard them. And she’s far enough away to never meet you. She won’t worry about the subject matter 

This has to work cause all I have is this 

I finally got that cd I’ve been looking for 

And you’d hate it 

I saw that film I’ve been wanting to see 

And you’d hate it 

I’m going to bleach my hair again

And I’m glad you hate it all 

Cause that way I can keep some distance 

I keep pretending I’d give in 

I wouldn’t give in to you. I’m laughing as a write this cause oh my fucking god I’m so much cooler than you

Rushing our moment to shine 

I need to find those people that will show me those places. I need to find those people who will take me on adventures and help me find who I am 

I need to find some people to start a band with me

The people who’ll make me mixtapes and understand they’re significance 

And will do it without asking 

There’s got to be someone out there
