˚ʚ♡ɞ˚ NWOS Predictions.

Well I'm back from the grave to post about my current hyperfixation (being Professor Layton at the moment). But I'm here to give my random-ass new world of steam predictions(with minimal explanations)

1. LAYTON MIGHT GET SHOT

Okay this is very random but if you watched the trailer, you may have noticed that he's wearing a button down instead of his sweater(?). I saw someone say this and I totally agree with them. They said "Why would they change his outfit now? Unless he needs a reason to open his shirt." So something's gonna happen where he needs to open his shirt for something????

2. It's going to be pretty lore heavy.

While I like the less heavy (emotionally) games, I think we're gonna have a pretty emotional and lore-filled game (Like unwound future or Azran Legacy).

3. I think the mini games are not going to appear.

If you've played the previous games, you may have noticed that in the menus are mini games. In PL VS AA they dropped them from the menu (probably because of Ace Attorney not having those mini games). I think they'll drop them for this game as well.

4. I don't think Emmy or Flora will appear, however a new character may join the cast.

Emmy left at the end of Azran Legacy and we don't know where or how Flora is so I don't think they'll be returning but I think we might have a new character joining us in America.

5. This game can determine a lot about the Layton series.

This game makes me excited and stressed. For one, if the game sucks, then that could kill the Layton series, FOREVER. Someone mentioned how "they were excited for new Layton content in the years to come." but if this game flops, then the series might be dead once more, likely permanently. Also we aren't in the prequels anymore! We don't have the reassurance that things will go back to normal. This is the future, we have no idea what's happening.

6. Animated cutscenes(?)

More of a hope instead of a prediction but I hope they bring back the hand-drawn cutscenes from the original games. Many of my favorite game series have a combination of 3D/2D Gameplay + Animated Cutscenes and I hope they don't do it all in 3D.
