As my profile states, I wanna learn bass guitar! I decided that learning regular acoustic guitar would make learning bass easier but I haven’t really started. I downloaded simply guitar but the lessons were blocked behind a paywall. Is there any thing I could do to get more motivation or an app with free lessons to take? I’m broke asf and can’t pay 100 bucks a month for guitar lessons.

O. M. G. I just got a bass and have been play guitar for over a year so I'll try and give ya some tips. An easy way to start learning is youtube. If you don't want to go through loonnnggg videos of people talking pick a some you like. search (song name) Bass tab and most likely a tab will show up and follow along with it. Tabs are waaayyy easier to play and learn then music notes. If you don't want to just use youtube I also recommend Ultimate Guitar it has TONS of songs and has tabs for bass, electric, piano, etc. You can use it for free but you can't play along with it or you can play and get official tabs and play along with the tab (I don't know what it cost but I think its pretty cheap)

OHHH and A good song to start with is Black No 1 by Type O Negative (In my opinion) The main bass line is just the same notes over and over again and is pretty simple
