Did Bo Burnham get canceled?

Late blog post sorry :( but I didn't have anything to say till now. Was Bo Burnham canceled? I’ve seen a couple videos of people on TikTok saying he’s a crappy guy, most of which because he’s homophobic and racist. (I don’t want to use the “it’s just a joke so get over it” argument cuz that’s really cringe, and satire doesn’t mean you have to like it.) for him being homophobic the only thing I’ve seen is he said the f slur, this may sound bad but I don’t think that makes you homophobic, homophobia is hating someone for being gay saying the f slur doesn’t mean you hate gay people. I saw this TikTok saying Bo bullied a gay kid in high-school (can’t find it now don’t know if they deleted it or I blocked them) what they said wasn’t (in my mind) bullying it was just an older student being mean also didn’t seem homophobic so idk. Bo also said when he was a kid his mom said something homophobic and he doesn’t talk to her anymore cuz of it, from what I know he’s not homophobic he just says the f slur. For the racist part Bo has just made a lot of racial jokes which idk you don’t have to find funny idk if that makes him racist. I don’t know everything Bo has done tho so tell me if he went up to a gay person and called them the f slur or something. If he did something actually bad I won’t defend it but from what I’ve seen the people hating on him are either forgetting a lot of his songs are satirical or he doesn’t actually hate insert group of people. 8/12/24 (if I sound like the “gen z is canceling Eminem” girl I’m sorry)
