how july went

Massively late, but I didn't have access to my laptop for a while. Spacehey mobile please add blogs already :').

Anyways, July was fun! I did mostly nothing, aside from scouts summer camp prep and, you know, being at said camp lol. Instead of the typical 8 days (3 of them being only the adult grade, for assembling and dismantling the camp) it was 3 and we needed to assemble it all in 4 hours. But we had enough time before the younger grades came so that's great!! We were in the southern part of the northern district, and the weather was NASTY. It's not even the humidity or heat that killed me, it was the STICKY SAND. IT GOT EVERYWHERE. But I still had fun so I think it was worth it.

Now let's get to the usual thing: vsynth releases!

Technically not a new release, but I think is worthy of mention- On the 4th, we got Gumi's first V6 append- Gumi solid! It's a more powerful version of Gumi's voice :)

On the 6th, we got Oedo Chanko's neutrino! I believe she is inspired off of an area in Japan? No clue which one though lol. She's cute, I'm just less of a fan of child vocals. I also love the new design!

On the 19th, we got a new vocal from the Dreamtonics periodic table series (not official name)- Ling Wan! She's a native cantonese vocal (as in, she was recorded in cantonese but can be used for other languages), and It's a really beautiful vocal! I think the colors they chose for the letters also fit very well. It's been almost a year since a cantonese vocal has been released- so It's pretty cool to get a new one!

Again, not exactly a new release nor new character- But on the 18th, Gekiyaku and Kazehiki officially moved to Vocaloid6! They originally were UTAUs, then were transported onto a project of vocaloid- Called vocaloid beta, stylized with the greek letter. I like both so I am quite happy about this update, the designs look cool too. I still prefer Gekiyaku's Vbeta design, however I am LOVING the white goth look for Kazehiki.

Either way, I'm content with what we got. It certainly is better than nothing!!

See you at the end of August! hopefully life doesn't get in my way and that update won't be delayed too. *crawls back into my cave to make more tools for grug*
