introductions

hello, my name is Tsubaki. if you somehow recognise my face... keep your mouth shut!!! though I doubt any of my IRLs will find me.

i'm 20, a psychology student, and really short. i like anime and manga and i like to draw but my laptop tanked so i can't use my drawing tablet (i refuse to go back to ibispaint on my phone). i also have my own website at tsubakiroom.neocities.org so i plan to do some coding on this website soon too! 

right now i have to go to work. i'm working as a waitress so i can save up and move to the Netherlands so I can study next year. everything's kinda scary right now. i hope this website gets more popular, but i doubt it. I was born a little too late to fully enjoy things like myspace and geocities but i'm not one of those kids who wants to live a full y2k experience; i think things are a lot easier now and i like it, but i don't really like social media and miss how you could personalise things. 

when the internet was first born and given to the public it took skill. you had to know how to code and stuff. then browsers came, which is fine of course, and things became accessible. then social media came and now everybody's at the whims of billionaires and their evil algorithms. free speech is lost. if i can't tell the guy posting "funny" scenes from his favourite anime "what?! my 12-year old sister is my wife?!" on instagram to do a gainer off the nearest skyscraper what can i do? but seriously... they have us all on a leash.

but that's really r/im13andthisisdeep right? whatever, i really have to go or my manager is going to throw me off the nearest skyscraper.
