My thoughts about Taylor swift

Before reading all of this, I am not a Taylor swift fan. I usually wouldn't care about the subject but one of my band mates (who will be getting a different post) seems to have a desperate need to defend this artist. I do not see the hype with Taylor swift. not because "its not good music" or "metal is the only good music" or any type of arguments like that. I like all different types of music (but I don't really care for break up artist). But without even thinking of that factor, I simply think Taylor swift is untalented. Taylor Swift was pretty big even before her big "cult" up-bringing. and I would sit here and say I don't mind her old music...but I was 7 years old when I was listening to her so take that how you want it. I simply believe Taylor swifts sudden huge fame is because shes a trend...not because her music's good. Shes a trend for white girls with no personality, much like the color burnt pink and the "Stanley" cup. her constant drop of new music that all sounds the same is just to keep her "cult of Swifties" keep running her played numbers. Cause girls with no brains who love hopping on a trend to stay "cool" see the name Taylor swift and automatically love it no matter how much it sounds like the last song and no matter how uncreative it is.  

I also don't care if you listen to her, I have many many friends who like Taylor. she is just not a creator I would ever respect for her "talents". Thank you.
