Well, August is the last month of my summer vacation and soon, or to be exact, I'll return to school on the 2nd of September. I'm writing this to share my studying experience throughout the 9 years I've already finished.
And the first thing I'll go with would be "studying mentality". As you may know, having a correct mentality is crucial to keep your life going comfortably, and to have stable mental and physical health. So, what you need is: STOP STRESSING OVER THINGS WHICH WON'T AFFECT YOU. I mean, stop worrying about your classmates's opinions, stop stressing over grades and focus on what you've learnt instead. The less you stress over anything, the more productive you become. As a person with anxiety, I understand that sometimes it's extremely hard to control your feelings and emotions. And I'm not saying that you should completely stop stressing. No. Being stressed is alright, as it's a basic human emotion which we simply cannot get rid of. However, you should definitely stop worrying about things which don't affect yourself-growth. An example from my life: my classmates were doing some weird and dumb stuff which led our class to be yelled at by a principal. I was so angry that day because I couldn't understand why my classmates were so wildly dumb. But then I realised that I spent my energy being angry at them for nothing. Why? They're openly dumb and that's their problem. If their behaviour affects my studies somehow, then the principal canĀ suspend them from schooling and the problem would be gone. So, instead of being angry all evening, I could simply take a few deep breaths and just get over it.
Next, start romanticizing studying. The more you see it through the pink glasses, the easier it becomes to endure. Step over your lazy ass and start dressing more beautiful, do your makeup if you like, do your hairstyle. Also, watch films, youtube videos, tiktoks that romanticize studying. Nowadays there are a lot of motivational channels. You just have to open the app. And with time, you'll romanticize studying habitually and you won't need additional motivation.
The other point is creating a super-simple routine which helps you to boost your mood and energy. It isn't even necessary to stick to a timetable. Let me tell you an example: when I wake up in the morning, I turn on music and dance while brushing my teeth, doing my skincare and makeup. I can also read a few chapters of manhwa before heading to school. To keep my mood boosted, I meet up with my classmate before school and we both continue our path together while having pleasant conversations. During lessons, I try to concentrate on tasks as hard as I can, so that the time will pass quicker. during breaks, I read, draw or anything like that. After lessons, I usually spend around an hour scrolling through my phone, rotting in bed and eating. After a quick rest, I do my homework as soon as it's possible because I know that if I'll rot in bed longer, then I won't be able even to stand up. While studying, I turn on music, make myself tea, and what's also really important, I take a lot of breaks. After that, I take a long shower, exercise, dance, sing, read. Just do whatever brings me happiness.
Now let's talk about the studying process itself. There are plenty of methods to keep your results high. so which one is yours? As for me, I tracked my studying habits and considering them I created my studying routine. If you study your habits, it'd be much easier to find or create study methods or routines which are the most suitable for you.
All in all, it is really important to stay positive and care about yourself at any time. I'm wrapping up this entry even tho there are still a few tips I have. The thing is that the more I write the more I feel like I can't put words into sentences properly. I feel like there are a lot of mistakes here, so I really apologise for all the inconveniences. Hope, I managed to help you
