I'm sure you have seen some profiles that have AUTOPLAYING music! But 9 times out of 10, they are a little too loud... and there really isn't an easy way to get quiet music, but despite that, here's the easiest way I found. The goal is to easily adjust a songs volume and reupload it to YouTube ASAP. Step by step!
Step 1: Follow this guide on how to embed YouTube URLs (very easy): https://forum.spacehey.com/topic?id=98324
Step 2: Download Audacity (free audio tools)
Step 3: Legally Obtain the song you want as your background... OR use some of my preset songs listed at the bottom!
Step 4: Load the song in Audacity. On the left you will see that you can reduce the volume in decibals. I usually do around -30 db. after that, press file, export audio as whatever format shows up.
Almost ready to upload! YouTube doesn't accept audio files for some reason, so you will have to quickly convert it to an MP4 file on https://www.freeconvert.com/mp3-to-mp4
Step 5: Once you have your MP4 file, you can upload it to YouTube! Once you've done that, follow the instructions at https://forum.spacehey.com/topic?id=98324 just like you would with any other video.
Here is my (growing) list of my preset "quiet videos" that I have uploaded to YouTube myself for you to use as background music, just in case you don't want to do all that:
Celeste - Prologue: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rSFpOLI9YsE
Celeste - Postcard from Celeste Mountain: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QYE6vFvvGxk
!!NOTE!!
Some browsers will automatically pause autoplaying media content, so if it doesn't work for you, try a different browser or enable autoplaying media from spacehey.
If you don't hear music now or when refreshing this page, it's your browser.
