Unfortunate News

I'm taking an indefinite hiatus. I apologize for this, as it's partially due to my own lack of planning and preparation.

That being said, I could never have prepared for the current events. As of yesterday's vet visit, we have a 3 month old kitten that will need life-long care for a chronic congenital (aka since birth) condition, which is yet another change to our routine. As for me, I couldn't have expected needing another MRI, much less the constant stress of halfway knowing what to expect.

The MRI is scheduled in a couple weeks, the kitten (Holly Flower) has a check-in with the vet the day before it, and I have follow-up with the specialist early next month to discuss the MRI's results. Until then, there is no real plan, and I am not someone who does well with health-related indefinites. After Holly's vet visit and the MRI follow-up, once some sort of game plan is established, I will update y'all. In the meantime I'll write when I can, though nothing will be published, just to keep some progress and have some sort of buffer once I leave hiatus.
