OC Showcase: Solace

It took so much effort to get this ONE blog post out (iykyk) but here is my self-insert/sona/whatever the kids are calling it these days: Solace (and here is their playlist)

(Once again, the art is hand-drawn by me, and then scanned in and colored on my phone because I SUCK at digital art)

So for as long as I can remember, I've viewed myself internally as either 1) a vampire, 2) a sheep, or 3) a creepy old porcelain doll

Anyway Solace is the sheep. I do have characters for the other two but they only exist in old drawings so I'm not comfortable showing them off just yet.

(based on this picrew bc its gorgeous and fit the vibe of Solace a lot)

Anyway Solace is based (loosely) off of the Whitefaced Woodland Sheep and myself (also loosely). They play the guitar, dulcimer, and banjo (because I couldn't decide which of the string instruments I play to give them), as well as the concertina

here they are with their guitar, banjo, and dulcimer (I went with this model of dulcimer bc it was easier to draw than the standard stick/mountain dulcimer lmao)

I couldn't find a good ref for a concertina player (nor did I want to model with my own), so no drawing of them with the concertina (also if you couldn't tell, I'm not good at drawing hands)

I don't actually use this character for anything, they just kind of exist in my brain
