maybe its because people on the internet are able to express their thoughts with no real consequences so they just say whatever they think without caring about anyone elses feelings

I absolutely agree, strongly. People are so obsessed with being cool and every cool kid is rude so people on the internet can live out their cool kid dreams and be a total douchebag. It really sucks especially as a lesbian I am so tired of being bullied for my sexuality.
