My childhood laptop is long gone, however I got a mid-2000s laptop as a gag-gift a few years back and I found this site while looking for fun things to do on it.
Of course I have a modern pc, a really expensive one at that. One that could probably not stutter so much when loading a profile that has background music, But where's the fun in that? ;)

I was thinking about buying a windows vista or W7 PC for family use, but using it for this purpose seems interesting. I'll check out how this site and more retro spaces look when I (eventually...) get it. ( ￣ .￣)b

I have an old laptop from like 2010 but haven't tried on that one. Sounds interesting tho, but idk what would be any different about the site.
It doesn't change much of anything obviously, There's somewhat of a novelty to profile backgrounds using low res images/gifs displaying better or with less tiling but besides that it's certainly a downgrade in every other metric LOL. I had just found this site from looking for places on the internet that worked on the damn thing haha.
