Hey Spaces sleepers (63): Paper Stickers

A month or so back I bought masking sheet stickers at Daiso while perusing the section for stickers. It was enamoring that they were stickers that you cut out yourself, little parchment stickers that you can make into little shapes. It did make me a bit nostalgic when I realized what the purpose of the product was because I did grow up doing paper crafts with my mom. We spent so much time cutting paper with little scissors and stamping shapes and gluing them to other papers. I remember using cut paper to embellish any art projects I worked on in elementary school, back when my mom still helped me with them. I have such immense fondness for those memories.

They actually have been very useful for decorating things. Surprisingly useful, actually, considering I initially hesitated on the purchase since the usability for doing decorations for photocard toppers was a bit questionable. I find that they're very good for embellishments for the other stickers, simple enough that they wouldn't seem garish. The utilization of my childhood paper stampers were very cool to me because I haven't touched them in so long. I didn't get my mom to participate in it in her off time, then again, I never verbally asked, just cutting the paper next to her while she would watch a Taiwanese talk show. I think it was a fun revitalization of a little activity I did as a kid, cutting the paper and not needing the glue to adhere it to stuff (08/09/2024).
