basically summer 24 !!

heya! i haven't been rlly active lately but i wanna start using this more and i wanted to post smth sooo i felt like writing a kinda diary entry abt how my summer has been since it's nearly over :')

so for alot of summer i just spent loads of time cooped up in my room doing god knows what and i feel a bit like i wasted too much time doing nothing (╥﹏╥) im sorta looking forward to school mainly because it'll be an excuse to get out of the house, but at the same time i don't wanna go back because... yk, it's school.

i did do a good bit tho, so ill say everything i recall!! i went to some cool places and hung out with some friends. it was my bday on june 8th so me & a close friend went to this REALLY good korean bbq place, it was literally soooo good. i went to another really good restaurant last week with one of my friends, we got ramen and it was UGH it was so good </3

i went to germany for a few days for my nana's birthday which was really nice since i don't get to see her often :) i wish i could be closer to more of my family- most of my dad's side live a 2 hour drive away, and my mam's side is german so. but yeah that was fun!! i also went to cork last weekend with my mam & my sister because my sister was treating us to this really nice hotel for my mam's birthday, it was rlly nice :D lots of birthday talk lol

at the start of july i went to a hozier concert and OMIGOD HE WAS SO GOOD!!!! i don't listen to hozier much but he was incredible. the weather was terrible lol, but it was kinda fun? like every1 was just singing & dancing in the cold rain, it was nice. i did a dnd campaign for a like week in the middle of july at this youth club, and then i did an acting thingy at another youth thingy. i love those fun kinda workshop weeks in summer :>

at the end of july we had a really sweet girl staying with us for a week. she was from germany and travelling around europe, and she was the daughter of one of my aunt's friends so that's why she was staying with us. she was sooo nice!! and she was only like 2 years older than me too so it was easy to get along with her. we ended up going to some really nice places- there were these cool cliffs, a big hiking trail (all nature spots haha), and this GORGEOUS waterfall. we watched some movies & made hot chocolate the night before she flew back :)

a few days ago i went to the national art gallery in dublin with 2 girls from school, im pretty close with one of them and the other was her friend who i got to know so we had fun! we got rlly good food after the gallery which was kewl, then went to hmv and stayed there for like 30 minutes lol (hmv is kinda like uk/irish hot topic). i love it there but it can get kinda expensive... BUT i did get a black veil brides t-shirt for like €3 from one of the shirt bins!! im acc wearing it rn, 10/10 find.

so yeah that's pretty much what i did this summer, outside of my house lmao. in my own time i had mostly been watching youtube or playing video games, for almost all of july i would just play genshin every day... i got pretty burnt out from it tho ;v; i also played alot of zelda on my switch. i'd been meaning to try out some new hobbies, but everything i wanna try is stuff i'd need to pay for (painting, crochet, guitar, everythinggg) and i am really broke ╥ ╥ i applied for alot of places at the start of summer, but most places just don't wanna hire teenagers or are probably full since most ppl try get summer jobs. HOWEVER i do have a halloween job set for october!! >:3

that's pretty much it! i have 2 weeks left until school starts again, im lowkey really nervous... im going into 5th year/11th grade, so im gonna have to start taking school acc seriously :[ im kinda worried but ill just try my best, that's all i can really do. and im excited because i get to start taking art!! i didn't do it for my first few years of secondary school and i regret it, so im happy i get to do it now ^^ ill also have biology which i can't wait for because im a huge ecology nerd lol

im trying to stay as postive as i can, i honestly don't really wanna go back but there's nothing i can do so i might as well just cope lmao. im probably gonna get a haircut soon too, and my sister said she might see if her friend is able to dye my hair!! i have brown hair and i wanna get blonde & pink highlights :>
