gravity falls is the best

I just rewatched gravity falls & read the new book of bill. it truly is one of the greatest shows ever made. i know i definitely speak from nostalgia, but the story still absolutely holds up. and with every new supplemental story we get (journal 3, the book of bill), it just keeps getting better!

i see the fandom theorizing about what the tie-in website and countdown could possibly mean, and whether it could be a new cipher hunt or could lead to a new tv show or something. honestly, i dont think it'll be that big. it my be more promotional material for some kind of GF related project, but i highly doubt it's a new tv show. and i don't think we need a new tv show tbh. the show was a perfectly contained story in two seasons, with magic, mystery, and fun for all. and it ended perfectly. it's like the show tries to get across, every summer has to end. and so do tv shows. i hope we get some new books down the line, but i hope they aren't just disney cash grabs.

i'm off to read journal 3 now, i realized i never read it when it came out ;)
