so i was on tiktok the other day and i stumbled upon a video that was CLEARLY ragebait and fake, but when i opened the comments everyone was pissed off and making a big deal out of it. like thats exactly what the creator wants. i dont get why people cant just scroll past the video because commenting and arguing just promotes the video more and makes everything worse. like those "texting my teacher" videos are clearly fake and everyone in the comments are so stupid? its so obvious and fake.
like cmon guys lets use our critical thinking skills instead of just giving those kinda people attention

Humans have always been, and always be, emotional creatures. Most will react using their emotions before using their mind. I am often a culprit of this, too. Emotions get attention, just look at the history of Conservative and Reactionary propaganda.
