How do yall write songs? (aka pls help)

i use alot of talking-through-a-flower and mental images. like a song about dangerous partying disguised as a happy song. or very cryptic, ambigous sayings that always keep you guessing. but idk how to really nail it. i'd like to write some pop and edm songs but i want some writing help/tips. any1 a pro at this? please spill the beans guys
