loyal lies (a poem)

I told you my secrets and it was so sweet, I know it was short but I thought it was something real. you said your loyal, and you asked if a single friend has never left me. I said no, and I said "I'm surprised we lasted this long" and you questioned every word I said. a promise shot dead, you said you would stay, I thought our friendship was something I could keep. but you want something more, I guess just a friendship wasn't enough. to bore you with my interests and stories that you will forget one day, stories I would never have trusted anyone else to tell. so what the hell, you say your loyal and the next day you disappear. don't tell me what I want to hear, just tell me the truth. did you ever even really care? or are you just like every guy I've ever met. I don't understand you.
