I GOT THE OLD NETFLIX APP WITH DOWNLOADS BACK LETS GOOOO

Hey everyone,

you might already know that I sadly can't just rely on Windows 7 as my main OS, because it doesn't run on my Go-To Laptop I need for school and stuff.

So I am forced to use a newer OS, which in this case is Windows 11 (which is miles better than 10, but nothing beats 7 (and 8.1)).

And you also may have noticed, that the Netlifx for Windows "App" got an update. It is now a stupid Web Wrapper and has the download feature removed.

Luckily, I found an article online with which I could install an older version of the App which is not a Web Wrapper and can still download movies and shows.

I don't know how long this will be possible, but hopefully quite long. Or they could just add downloads to their new stupid "App" or Web Wrapper. It's also using Edge as browser, soo...

This workaround could stop working by tomorrow, in a week, a month or even a year.

So please don't yell at me if it doesn't work anymore when you try it.

Important if you do use it: Do the last step differently. You don't have to open command prompt and paste something in there. Just open the file that you downloaded (aka. run it).
